Meet The Family
Managing Director
Jonathan Hancock
Jonathan grew up spending weekends on his grandparents farm in Cheshire and learning to fish and shoot with his father. He began his career in textiles producing knitted fabrics in Macclesfield, this lead to him becoming Managing Director at the family dyeworks as a third generation member of Shrigley Dyers Ltd. In 2006, he moved into the technical textile industry.
Merging his love of country sports with his knowledge of textiles inspired him to start Harehill Country Clothing, a brand which combines quality, style and affordability for all country activities.
Sales and Marketing Executive
Sophie Hancock
Sophie has always enjoyed the countryside from a young age. Her love for the environment flourished when she completed her degree in Geography (BSc). She has experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility and is an environmental scientist. In her spare time Sophie loves to go hiking in the Peak District or attempting to bake sourdough… nine times out of ten this is unsuccessful.
Sales and Operations Manager
James Hancock
Growing up, James regularly visited The Edge, a wooded escarpment, where he would walk the family dog and spend time outdoors. He is a keen geographer with a degree in Management (BSc) from the University of Manchester. Today, James puts his business and logistical skills to good use at Harehill.
Designer and Product Developer
Nicola Corfield
Nicola is our designer and product developer with a wealth of experience spanning two decades in the clothing industry. Holding a BA Hons degree in Fashion Design, Nicola brings a blend of creativity and technical expertise to our team.
Her passion lies in creating clothing that seamlessly integrates innovation, functionality, and durability. With Nicola's vision, every garment tells a story of quality craftsmanship and timeless style.
Outside of work Nicola enjoys country walks and brewing her own Kombucha.

Life at Harehill
Behind the scenes of our busy Harehill office where we spend all our time designing and creating the best quality clothing, we love to embrace the outdoors and pursue our other interests. From rescuing fledgling house martins which nest in our eves, to foraging blackberries for homemade jam, we are out in the fresh air as much as we can be with the dogs, consistently testing our designs in the field… literally!
